Hola  a todos,

Actualmente grabo a 24 bits 44100, pero quisiera cambiar a 44800, entro al panel de mi tarjeta de sonido, un line 6 ux2, me permite cambiar la frecuencia de muestro a 44800, pero al momento de abrir el cubase sigue apareciendo 44100, adjunto foto...tengo una PC icore 5 (3ra generacion) 8 gb ram, espero puedan ayudarme, gracias.

Desprendiéndose de M-audio, AVID busca retomar su linea de desarrollo de productos dirigidos íntegramente al sector profesional.


Así lo dijeron el 2 de junio en su comunicado de prensa (escrito abajo), parafraseando,  su idea es "enfocar la compañía hacia sus clientes de perfil Media Enterprise, Post y profesionales [...] para esto, Avid llevará a cabo una desinversión en el negocio para consumidores".

La linea de productos de consumidor será vendida a InMusic quien también trabaja con Akai Professional, Alesis y Numark entre otras más.

Ademas, venderá su linea de vídeo a la empresa canadiense Corel Corporation, en esta venta se van productos como Avid Studio, Pinnacle Studio, y otros productos ya descatalogados.

Otra cosa que han dicho es que van a reducir en un 20% su personal.

Today Avid® (NASDAQ: AVID) initiated a series of strategic actions to focus the company on its Media Enterprise and Post & Professional customers and to drive improved operating performance. As part of these actions, the company is divesting its consumer businesses. With these changes, Avid will concentrate on core markets where its deep domain expertise, track record of technical innovation, and strong brand offer the greatest opportunity for success.

Avid has agreed to sell its consumer audio and video product lines. The company's consumer audio products are being sold to inMusic, the parent company of Akai Professional, Alesis and Numark, among others. Headquartered in Cumberland, Rhode Island, inMusic's brands are best known for producing innovative products for music production, performance and DJing. The products involved in this transaction include M-Audio brand keyboards, controllers, interfaces, speakers and digital DJ equipment and other product lines. Avid will continue to develop and sell its industry-leading Pro Tools® line of software and hardware, as well as associated I/O devices including Mbox and Fast Track.

Separately, the company's consumer video editing line is being sold to Corel Corporation, a consumer software company headquartered in Ottawa, Canada. The products involved in this transaction include Avid Studio, Pinnacle Studio, and the Avid Studio App for the Apple iPad®, as well as other legacy video capture products.

The divested product lines contributed approximately $91 million of Avid's 2011 revenue of $677 million. As part of the transactions, certain employees of Avid will transfer to each acquiring company. Avid estimates that the proceeds from these transactions will be approximately $17 million, subject to closing inventory adjustment, with a portion held in escrow.  Both transactions are expected to close today, July 2, 2012.

Avid also plans to reduce the number of its employees as it streamlines operations, with approximately 20% of its permanent employee base impacted by the divestitures and headcount reduction plans.  The company currently expects to incur a restructuring charge of approximately $19 to $23 million related to these actions and other associated measures.

The company's cash balance on March 31, 2012 was $49.7 million. The proceeds from the sale of these product lines should offset most of the restructuring charges paid in 2012.

La 8i6 no te servirá si no tienes una mesa con preamplificadores aparte.

y la scarlett 8i6??

Gracias por los datos...me estoy animando por la scarlett 2i2 y comprar un MIDI/USB aparte que opinas?

Las salidas las puedes usar para alimentar (por ejemplo) amplificadores de audífonos y el inserto para (por ejemplo) poner un compresor en la señal

Como dije, Yo prefiero usar MIDI separado pues estos dispositivos se alimentan con los 5V [5mA] de la toma USB de tu Pc/Laptop, prefiero dedicar un puerto USB solo para el audio (y la corriente fantasma), y otro para prender algún synthe o controlador midi.

Solo he escuchado un equipo de Presonus y no me gusto, justamente terminé comprando un Focusrite en su lugar, no son "malos" pero yo prefiero un Focusrite antes que un presonus.

Si lo quieres para grabar demos, y no quieres gastar más en cables midi, pues puedes trabajar con la Fast track o la Presonus. Investiga un poco sobre que tan buenos son los drivers de cada uno para el sistema operativo que uses.

mmm si Demos bien trabajados para proyectos personales, para q me sirviriam mas salidas, puedes explciarme?  y q opinas del audiobox usb son malas? No sabia del cable midi/usb ah..

La Scarlet no tiene MIDI, pero si tiene Phantom Power (buen en realidad las 3 tienen). Lo que tendrías que preguntarte es si quieres o usar MIDI a través de la tarjeta o no.

Yo por ejemplo, a pesar de que la fast track tiene MIDI, nunca lo use y preferí tener un adaptador midi/usb separado:



Por otro lado, la Fast Track tiene 2 entradas, 4 salidas y 2 insertos:

¿Cual es el uso que le quieres dar? Grabación casera? demos y cosas así?

Entre ellas cual serie recomendable adquirirlo para de uso perosnal? no esoty seguro que el Scarlett 2i2 de Focusrite tenga PH, tmb eh escuchado y leido q el Fastrack pro tare muchos porblemas pero este tiede MIDI y phanton...el Audiobox usb no tengo mucha informacion..pero tiene MIDI y Phanton, en realidad no estaoy tan seguro por cual decidir....
